every moment, conversation, situation, job, this apartment, this bed, this
love. I hid it well but I know that you felt the effects. Everything was always
everywhere all at once, and all the time. I know that eventually, you started
to do the same. The difference with you could wait till you fell out of love. I
recognized it the moment I laid my eyes on you I just could not tell what it
was. My vices had always been so simple, and you dealt in both of them. Beauty
and heartbreak.
