Candice Berman Gallery offers specialist bespoke framing for private collectors, artists, designers, corporate collections and significant interior projects. As a member of the Fine Art Trade Guild, our workshop operates according to its five recognised standards, from minimum and budget framing to Commended, Conservation and Museum Level. We are qualified Guild Commended Framers and operate South Africa’s only Fine Art Trade Guild certified Advanced Conservation Framing workshop.
Every artwork is assessed individually, with materials and methods selected according to its value, condition, intended environment and conservation requirements. Properly specified work carries the relevant Fine Art Trade Guild label, providing a clear record of the framing standard for collectors and institutions. Our technical capabilities include bespoke natural profiles, customised finishes, round frames and moulding lengths of up to five metres for exceptionally large works.
Framing forms part of CBG’s wider fine art and advisory service. We collaborate with collectors, architects and interior designers from initial curation and framing through to placement and installation. For private collections, hotels, corporate spaces and developments, we can develop customised mouldings, source or commission artwork and create cohesive collections that respond meaningfully to their setting.
