There was never any solid ground, for you or
any of us. But there were moments, moments where I could catch a glimmer of the
light and its warmth. Moments like when you sat me on your lap and showed me
how to drive. Like Gran’s 62nd birthday, moments big enough to offer some
stability. To somehow put a halt to all the chaos. Moments when the two of you
were in sync, in love, or whatever that was.
