I Love David Hockney
This series introduces an enduring theme of my work, how humans relate to their environment. People are living in a fast evolving city, their spaces are changing radically. “How do we adapt to these changes? How do we feel about the increased densification of our city? How do citizens deal with their anger at what they perceive to be a City council that seems to want to only make money from rates, without thinking about the consequences for the sound, air and water pollution that all of this change brings?”
In this body of work I creates a feeling of an ideal state; a reflective space for people to think about how they feel in and about our changing spaces, both physically and emotionally.
